Thursday's Premier League predictions including Tottenham Hotspur vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Tottenham Hotspur vs. Manchester United.

Everton vs. Newcastle (Thursday, 7.45pm)

Everton host Newcastle United at Goodison Park on Thursday in an encounter with huge implications at both ends of the Premier League table.

The weekend's action saw Newcastle take a big step towards Champions League qualification, while Everton slipped further into trouble.

We say: Everton 0-2 Newcastle United

Despite the return of Calvert-Lewin, Everton remain a very feeble side in attack and may struggle to penetrate what has been such a strong Newcastle defence this season.

The visitors will be extremely confident of taking all three points against an out-of-form side to show their top four credentials.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Bournemouth (Thursday, 7.45pm)

Premier League basement club Southampton welcome South Coast rivals Bournemouth to St Mary's for a relegation battle on Thursday night.

While the Saints have failed to win each of their last four top-flight matches on home soil, the Cherries are seeking to claim their third consecutive win on the road.

We say: Southampton 1-2 Bournemouth

Both sides are fully aware of the importance of securing maximum points on Thursday in their bid to avoid the drop, with the pressure particularly on Southampton's shoulders as they are running out of games to climb out of the bottom three.

A slender win at the Vitality Stadium six months ago will provide some optimism for the Saints, but we believe the Cherries will respond to their heavy defeat last time out and continue their strong away form with a victory at St Mary's.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Spurs vs. Man Utd (Thursday, 8.15pm)

In the wake of another comically catastrophic few days at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Lilywhites return to the capital to take on Premier League top-four rivals Manchester United on Thursday night.

While the hosts were thumped 6-1 by Newcastle United on Sunday and subsequently gave Cristian Stellini the boot, the Red Devils set up an all-Manchester FA Cup final, breaking Brighton & Hove Albion hearts on penalties.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Manchester United

There has not been a Premier League draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since 2021, but with Spurs sure to enjoy at least a little lift under Mason and still finding the back of the net with ease during their troubles, the Lilywhites can restore some sense of order with a hard-earned point.

On another day, Man United could have easily been sent packing by Brighton in the FA Cup, and Spurs should certainly capitalise on any fresh concerns over the fitness of creator-in-chief Fernandes - Red Devils fans will need no reminding of how they coped without the Portuguese against Sevilla last week.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
