Ben Lam "happy" with individual performances

New Zealand's Ben Lam is "happy" with how he is performing at the Commonwealth Games having touched down five times to help his side to the semi-finals.

New Zealand's Ben Lam has said that he is "happy" with his individual performances at the Commonwealth Games so far.

Lam scored two tries as the All Blacks edged past Kenya and into the medal semi-finals, taking his overall tally for the weekend to five.

Australia await New Zealand in the last four, while the reigning champions are also guaranteed another game after that to determine which colour medal - if any - they will receive.

Lam is likely to be a key figure in any success they enjoy in the evening session of the final day, but he was quick to pay tribute to the contribution his teammates have made to his displays.

"[I'm] happy [with my performances]. Just getting the ball and finishing it off at the end of the chain, which is good. It's always helpful when the boys up front are doing the work," he told Sports Mole.

Should New Zealand beat Australia in the last four then they will face either Samoa or South Africa in the final.
