Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester United could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Manchester United will be without at least three players for Saturday's Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.

Playmaker Christian Eriksen is ruled out for the next three months after sustaining an ankle injury in the FA Cup fourth-round win over Reading last weekend.

Donny van de Beek is sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee problem, while Scott McTominay is also on the treatment table and could miss the next two to three weeks with a muscle injury.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils will assess the condition of Diogo Dalot who has struggled with a hamstring injury since the World Cup and remains doubtful for Saturday – Aaron Wan-Bissaka is therefore likely to retain his place at right-back.

Erik ten Hag only rested a couple of his star names on Wednesday as the Red Devils secured a 2-0 second-leg win over Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup semi-finals, with goalkeeper David de Gea and Marcus Rashford beginning on the substitutes' bench.

Both De Gea and Rashford are set to be recalled to the first XI at the expense of Tom Heaton and Alejandro Garnacho respectively, while the rest of the side could remain unchanged.

Deadline-day loan signing Marcel Sabitzer could be available to make his debut, while Jadon Sancho is back in contention after making his first appearance since October in the win over Forest.

Manchester United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Fred; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Weghorst
