Chelsea winger Pedro has admitted that he 'misses' Barcelona, but does not regret moving to Stamford Bridge.

The 28-year-old signed for the Blues last summer, but only managed to find the back of the net seven times in 29 Premier League appearances.

Pedro spent 11 years of his life playing for Barcelona, who signed the winger for the club's academy in 2004.

"Of course I miss Barca," Pedro told Mundo Deportivo. "I had many years there, I felt very loved on the street. I've had the best moments of my career there and I really miss it, but I do not regret going [to Chelsea]. I'm very comfortable, it's a great club.

"It's been hard because a change is always tough for a player at the start. You start from scratch, in a new league, new team, new language, new culture, but my teammates helped me a lot. We look forward to doing something big."

Chelsea failed to qualify for next season's Champions League as they finished the campaign 10th in the table, 16 points adrift of the top four spots.
