A report claims that bar and restaurant owners in Marseille have been forced to pack up their tables and chairs following the violence in the city.

Bar and restaurant owners in Marseille have reportedly been forced to pack up their tables and chairs following the violence that has erupted between England and Russia supporters.

It is understood that the two sets of fans have been involved in a number of altercations in Old Port after a group of Russia supporters charged at their English counterparts little past 3pm UK time on Saturday afternoon.

According to GFFN, the trouble has forced a number of local businesses to close for the day as they fear criminal damage taking place near or indeed inside their establishments.

England and Russia are due to face off in Group B's second Euro 2016 fixture on Saturday night.
