England captain Alastair Cook confirms that the team is unchanged for the third and final Test against Sri Lanka, which begins at Lord's tomorrow.

England captain Alastair Cook has confirmed that the team will be unchanged for the third and final Test against Sri Lanka at Lord's.

The same players that wrapped up the series with a nine-wicket win in the second Test at Chester-le-Street will line up for the final meeting.

The announcement means that Jake Ball will have to keep waiting for his debut after being named in the last two squads but not featuring.

Ball is struggling to break into the bowling attack given James Anderson's form, which has resulted in him taking 18 wickets in the two Tests.

The second match will get underway tomorrow.

England team:

Alastair Cook, Alex Hales, Nick Compton, Joe Root, James Vince, Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, Steven Finn, James Anderson
