Former England captain Nasser Hussain believes that Tymal Mills has the potential to play Twenty20 cricket at international level.

Tymal Mills has the "raw ability" to represent England in the Twenty20 format of the game, according to Nasser Hussain.

The left-arm seamer was one of the star attractions during Sussex Sharks' 48-run victory over Somerset last night, thanks mainly to the 93.3mph yorker that dismissed the legendary Chris Gayle.

Speaking after witnessing that performance, ex-England skipper Hussain told Sky Sports News: "Other than the fear of him snapping, there is no reason this lad shouldn't play T20 for England or domestically around the world.

"He bowled out world superstar Gayle, nearly bumped out Mahela Jayawardene and showed he has a brilliant slower ball as well as a brilliant faster ball. In terms of raw ability, he has it all."

Mills, 23, only plays the shorter formats of the game due to a persistent back problem.
