England boss Roy Hodgson will reportedly make six alterations to his starting lineup for their final Group B fixture at Euro 2016 against Slovakia.

England boss Roy Hodgson has reportedly decided to make six changes to his side for the Euro 2016 contest against Slovakia on Monday night.

The Three Lions still require a win to guarantee top spot in Group B but according to numerous reports in the media, Hodgson is said to have taken the decision to freshen up his starting lineup with qualification for the last 16 all but assured.

Captain Wayne Rooney is the main absentee, while it is claimed that Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Dele Alli, Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane also drop out from the team that started the 2-1 victory over Wales in Lens.

Both Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge are said to have been included after they came off the bench to score on Thursday afternoon, while Nathaniel Clyne, Ryan Bertrand, Jordan Henderson and Jack Wilshere are scheduled to make their first starts of the tournament.

A point against Slovakia could still be enough for England to finish in first place, but they would have to rely on Wales failing to defeat Russia.

A defeat could leave England in third position but after Romania failed to see off Albania on Sunday night, they are already guaranteed a place among the best third-place finishers although it is a route that Hodgson and his team would rather avoid with Germany or Spain potential opponents in the last 16.
