England sealed a 3-0 series whitewash over Australia on Saturday after earning a 44-40 win in Sydney.
Eddie Jones's side, who are unbeaten under the head coach, had already claimed a historic series win over the Wallabies, but they went one step further by claiming a 100% record.
The breakthrough was made 10 minutes into the clash as Dan Cole snuck over the line after collecting the ball following a charging run from Mako Vunipola.
Owen Farrell comfortably converted his kick, but Australia responded three minutes later when Bernard Foley scored a try from a well-run backs move.
England were under the cosh for a few minutes when Michael Hooper exploited space on the width, but his inside pass was misplaced and the move broke down.
The Aussies took the lead when swift passing between Sean McMahon and Israel Folau resulted in Dane Haylett-Petty touching down at the corner.
England responded through Mike Brown, who picked up the ball from Anthony Watson, who was stopped in his tracks by Haylett-Petty, but his teammate was able to nab the try.
The visitors edged ahead just after half time as Billy Vunipola showed his strength by charging past Rob Horne and Hooper to get over the line, but Farrell missed his conversion.
England's advantage did not last long, though, as Hooper evaded three tackles to put the game all square with half an hour to play.
It was a tense finish as the lead changed hands in the final 15 minutes, but an important turnover ball from England just outside Australia's 22 led to Jamie George's try.
Farrell was able to give the Red Rose a nine-point lead when they were brought back for a penalty after George Ford's drop-goal fell wide.
England continued to dominate and after a penalty was awarded, Farrell calmly slotted between the sticks, pulling his statistics up to 23 conversions from 26 kicks in the series.
