Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Porto

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League clash with Porto.

Barcelona will be aiming to move onto six points in their Champions League section when they head to Porto on Wednesday night.

The Catalan giants will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 victory over Sevilla in La Liga, and Xavi's side are still unbeaten in all competitions at the start of the 2023-24 campaign.

The La Liga champions were 5-0 winners over Royal Antwerp in the Champions League on September 19, with the result leaving them top of Group H.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Porto, who recorded a 3-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in their first game in the section.

Pedri remains on the sidelines with a thigh issue, but the Spain international is closing in on a return, having made strides forward over the last week or so in terms of his recovery.

De Jong was forced off against Celta Vigo last weekend due to an ankle injury, and the Netherlands international is unlikely to be available before the end of the month.

Raphinha picked up a thigh problem in the first half of the clash with Sevilla last time out, and the Brazilian is now facing a period on the sidelines while he recovers.
