Manchester United are reportedly plotting a move for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci.

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a move for Juventus and Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci this summer.

The Red Devils have already signed Eric Bailly from Villarreal as new manager Jose Mourinho looks to rebuild the club and challenge for major honours.

According to the Daily Star, Mourinho is keen to add experience to his backline and has identified Bonucci, 29, as the ideal candidate.

United could face competition for his signature from Chelsea and Antonio Conte, who has Bonucci is his Italy squad at Euro 2016.

Manchester City are said to be interested in a deal for the Juve centre-back, but are prioritising a move for Everton's John Stones.
