Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta reveals that the club have not received any offers for Paul Pogba and insists he remains an important part of the team's future.

Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta has insisted that the club have not received any offers for Paul Pogba this summer.

The 23-year-old is understood to be in high demand amongst Europe's biggest clubs, with Real Madrid reportedly leading the race for his signature.

Speculation yesterday suggested that Juventus were resigned to losing the France international, but Marotta reiterated his importance to the team and hinted that he would stay.

"As for Pogba, we haven't received any offer, and he is a fundamental player for the present and the future of Juventus," he is quoted as saying by Sport Mediaset.

Pogba has made 178 appearances for Juve since joining on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2012.
