Saturday's Premier League predictions including Chelsea vs. Brighton

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Chelsea vs. Brighton & Hove Albion.

Aston Villa vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Two of the Premier League's form sides meet in Saturday's early kickoff, as Aston Villa aim to extend their four-match success streak at the expense of Champions League-chasing Newcastle United.

The Magpies arrive at Villa Park on the back of five straight wins, which sees them occupy third place in the table, while Villa's evolution under Unai Emery continued with victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend.

We say: Aston Villa 1-1 Newcastle United

Boasting the best defensive record in the Premier League, Newcastle will fancy their chances of shutting out an increasingly potent Villa side. However, under Unai Emery, their hosts' confidence at Villa Park has grown by the week, so the Magpies may be restricted to a single point.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Chelsea vs. Brighton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion will be looking to return to winning ways when they lock horns at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.

The two teams have experienced contrasting runs of form for a number of months in the top flight, with the Blues winning just four of their last 21 games and the Seagulls losing only four of their last 18 matches.

We say: Chelsea 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Chelsea's well-documented struggles in front of goal have hindered their progress throughout this season, but they may have greater success in attack against a Brighton side who have conceded in 12 of their 14 Premier League away games this season.

Nevertheless, a closely-fought contest between two teams, who can ill-afford to drop more points in their quest to secure European football for next season, is expected at Stamford Bridge, which could see the spoils shared on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Everton vs. Fulham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Everton welcome Fulham to Goodison Park on Saturday in what will be a big day for the Toffees' survival hopes.

Sean Dyche's men play earlier than many of the sides fighting relegation with them, meaning a win could give them a psychological edge.

We say: Everton 1-1 Fulham

Despite their superb home record against Fulham, Everton are on a dreadful run of results against newly-promoted sides, not winning any of their last nine.

Fulham are on a really worrying run and are usually poor travellers to Merseyside, but they have players capable of causing Everton trouble, even without Mitrovic.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3.00pm)

With both sides at opposite ends of the nine-team Premier League relegation dogfight, Southampton host a revitalised Crystal Palace at St Mary's on Saturday afternoon.

The Saints were put to the sword 4-1 by Manchester City last weekend, while Roy Hodgson's men overpowered and outclassed Leeds United in a 5-1 demolition job.

We say: Southampton 1-3 Crystal Palace

Even if Southampton can draw first blood on the South Coast, Palace are the masters at overcoming in-game adversity - gleaning a league-high 20 points from losing positions this term and coming from behind to win in both games under Hodgson so far.

The Saints can feel optimistic of nicking the odd goal, but a merciless Palace attack will no doubt take advantage of any uncertainty over Lavia's fitness, and we can only back the Eagles to continue their purple patch with a third win on the bounce.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Spurs vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

For the second time in the space of two gameweeks, Tottenham Hotspur welcome a team from the South Coast to North London, as Bournemouth lie in wait for Saturday afternoon's Premier League contest.

The Lilywhites somehow scraped past Brighton & Hove Albion in a chaotic 2-1 win last weekend, while Gary O'Neil's men came away from the King Power with a 1-0 triumph over Leicester City.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Bournemouth

With Bournemouth showing plenty of attacking eminence in recent gameweeks, Saturday's game has the potential to be another banana skin for Tottenham, who were extremely fortunate to come away with all three points versus Brighton.

However, the Lilywhites possess the recipe for success on their own patch - albeit while not always producing an exciting, free-flowing display - and Stellini should witness his side clinch a hard-fought win from the naughty step.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Wolves vs. Brentford (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Aiming to put yet another capital club to the sword at Molineux, Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Brentford to the West Midlands for Saturday afternoon's Premier League contest.

Julen Lopetegui's side stunned Chelsea in a 1-0 triumph last time out, while the Bees could not hang onto a one-goal lead against Newcastle United, falling to a 2-1 defeat.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Brentford

Brentford and Wolves have never played out back-to-back draws in a single season before, but there is no obvious winner in this tie, even if Lopetegui's side have the recent Molineux pattern working against them.

The Bees have been the stalemate specialists away from home, and with Wolves on the highest of highs from their success over Chelsea, we have faith in the hosts to steal a point and deal yet another blow to Brentford's European hopes.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Man City vs. Leicester (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Manchester City will endeavour to claim their 10th successive victory in all competitions when they welcome Leicester City to the Etihad Stadium for a Premier League clash on Saturday.

While the Citizens are seeking to close in on top-flight leaders Arsenal, the Foxes have brought in manager Dean Smith to pull them away from the hotly-contested relegation dogfight.

We say: Manchester City 4-0 Leicester City

The two teams enter Saturday's contest in contrasting form and are aware that securing maximum points could be pivotal in they wish to meet their respective Premier League targets.

Leicester will be hoping for a new manager bounce under Smith, but the odds are firmly against the Foxes who could be in for another difficult afternoon against an in-form Man City outfit.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
