A report claims that Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is plotting a move for Newcastle United's Dutch goalkeeper Tim Krul.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has reportedly made Tim Krul one of his main summer transfer targets.

The pair are believed to share a good relationship dating back to Pardew's stint in charge of Newcastle United.

According to the Croydon Advertiser, Pardew is ready to launch a bid to take the goalkeeper to Selhurst Park.

The report adds that Krul, 28, may be open to a move after the Magpies were relegated to the Championship.

The Netherlands international has been sidelined since October with a knee ligament injury, but he is expected to return in time for pre-season training.
