Leicester City are reportedly told that they must pay at least £30m to persuade fellow Premier League side Watford to part with their captain Troy Deeney.

Watford have told Leicester City that Troy Deeney will not be sold for any less than £30m, according to reports.

The Foxes have been heavily linked with a move for the Hornets forward to either complement or replace Jamie Vardy, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal.

According to the Leicester Mercury, however, the East Midlands club have to improve on their £25m bid to persuade Watford to agree to sell their captain.

Deeney, 27, scored 13 goals for the Hertfordshire club last season.
