Report: Watford want Martin Hinteregger

Red Bull Salzburg's Austrian centre-back Martin Hinteregger is a summer transfer target for Watford, according to a report.

Watford are reportedly interested in signing Austrian international Martin Hinteregger.

The 23-year-old, who is currently in action at Euro 2016, is contracted to Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg, but spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.

According to Sky Sports News, Watford have been impressed with the centre-back's performances at the European Championships and are believed to be preparing a summer move.

It is understood that three other Premier League clubs and also Bundesliga side Hoffenheim are monitoring proceedings for a player that could cost in the region of £7.5m from Red Bull Salzburg.
