Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri would reportedly be interested in the England job.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri would reportedly be interested in becoming the next England boss if contacted by the Football Association.

The governing body is mulling over various candidates following Roy Hodgson's resignation on Monday.

The 68-year-old stepped down within one hour of the Three Lions' 2-1 defeat to Iceland in the last-16 stage of Euro 2016 in Nice.

According to The Telegraph, the FA's first choice is Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, but Premier League-winning boss Ranieri is another option.

The report adds that the FA could miss out, though, as the Italian is expected to pen fresh terms at the King Power Stadium in pre-season, which begins next month.
