British bantamweight Jamie McDonnell has been ordered to face Rau'Shee Warren in his next fight.

The WBA is looking to reduce the number of world titles in each weight division to one, resulting in 'regular' title holder McDonnell being required to face 'super' champion Warren in the autumn.

The governing body has given the two fighters 30 days to agree terms, with purse bids being held if no deal can be finalised.

McDonnell has made four successful defences of the belt since May 2014, while American puncher Warren recently dethroned previous champion Juan Carlos Payano.
