Tottenham and Leicester are among a number of clubs reportedly interested in signing Iceland's Euro 2016 star Ragnar Sigurdsson this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City are reportedly weighing up a move for Iceland defender Ragnar Sigurdsson this summer.

The 30-year-old scored the equaliser and was named man of the match for his performance as Iceland registered the biggest result in their history by beating England 2-1 at Euro 2016 on Monday.

His form at the tournament has reportedly alerted a number of clubs, with Spurs and Leicester heading the queue, according to The Guardian.

The report goes on to state that Liverpool have also registered an interest, while German clubs Wolfsburg and Schalke have already made contact with the defender's current side Krasnodar.

It is thought that it would take just £4.1m to prise Sigurdsson away from the Russian outfit, making him a cheap option for either Spurs or Premier League champions Leicester to bolster their defensive ranks.
