England midfielder Eric Dier talks up the importance of his side's second Euro 2016 group game against Wales.

England midfielder Eric Dier has admitted that his side's upcoming match against Wales at Euro 2016 is "massive" for both teams.

Wales currently lead the way in Group B following their 2-1 victory over Slovakia on Saturday, with England being held to a 1-1 draw by Russia later that day.

Despite that, England remain the favourites heading into the match in Lens on Thursday, but Dier warned that they would be in for a difficult test.

"Obviously there's a lot to it. I think as well it might be a bit less of an international game and a bit more of an English game, especially with the players," he told reporters.

"It might be a bit different to all the others games you've seen in the tournament, so I think that's good for the spectators as well. Obviously it's a massive game for them and for us, for many different reasons. Everyone is going to look forward to it.

"I think the underdogs are always up for it, always wanting to prove a point and that makes it even harder for the favourites. If we are the favourite, we need to be even more well-prepared and more ready for it because they'll be desperate to do their best obviously after the result they had as well."

England will go into Thursday's match with the threat of expulsion hanging over their heads should any further trouble erupt amongst supporters.
