Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Malmo at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is expected to make a few changes to his starting XI as he aims to make it three consecutive victories during Wednesday evening's Champions League clash with group underdogs Malmo.

The Blues currently sit second in Group H, after having suffered a narrow defeat to Juventus in their second game, but Tuchel's side have been performing well overall and currently sit at the top of the Premier League.

The German manager will continue with his policy of rotation amid the hectic schedule of national and continental football, but also has more players at his disposal than for the Brentford match.

Thiago Silva is now available after his late return from international duty caused him to miss the game on Saturday evening and looks set to go straight into the back three.

With Antonio Rudiger still sidelined by a back injury, the Brazilian will likely be joined by Andreas Christensen and the young Malang Sarr, who impressed in his first Premier League appearance, with Trevoh Chalobah dropping to the bench.

Despite Ben Chilwell's impressive performances of late - having scored in each of his last three appearances - Tuchel will rotate his left wing-back and revert to Marcos Alonso, who has also put in some excellent showings this term.

Christian Pulisic is ruled out with an ankle injury and Hakim Ziyech is a doubt through illness, so Romelu Lukaku - who will be determined to end his six-game goal drought - and Timo Werner are set to remain as the front two, supported by Mason Mount in an attacking midfield role.

Jorginho will also return to the midfield, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mateo Kovacic returning to the bench after their starts against Brentford.
