Emma Raducanu books her place in the quarter-finals of the Transylvania Open with a straight-sets victory over Romania's Ana Bogdan.

Great Britain's Emma Raducanu eased past Romania's Ana Bogdan to advance to the quarter-finals of the Transylvania Open.

The US Open champion set up the second-round tie with the home representative after overcoming Slovenia's Polona Hercog in three sets on Tuesday.

Raducanu's route to the quarter-finals was far more straightforward as she overcome Bogdan 6-3 6-4 on Thursday, but she was quick to insist that her best is yet to come after the encounter.

Speaking to the press, Raducanu said: "It is definitely taking me some time to find my feet still, I'm taking some learning from every match I play. I'm not the finished product yet."

Raducanu will now face fellow teenager Marta Kostyuk of Ukraine for a spot in the semi-finals, where she could meet Simona Halep as she battles Varvara Gracheva in her quarter-final.

However, there was less joy for GB on the men's side, as Indian Wells Masters champion Cameron Norrie slumped to a three-set defeat to Felix Auger-Aliassime at the Vienna Open.
