Saturday's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup: Eduardo Camavinga, Erling Braut Haaland, Marcus Thuram

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Liverpool on Saturday, November 7.

The summer transfer window has now closed and attention will begin to turn to January for Premier League champions Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's side brought in Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas during the summer, making for one of their busier transfer windows in the last couple of years.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.

Saturday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:

Real Madrid 'hope to sign Kylian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga next summer'

Real Madrid are reportedly hopeful of completing deals for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe and Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga during next summer's transfer window.

Los Blancos were strongly linked with both players earlier this year, but the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak meant that it would have been impossible to sign either during the recent market.

Madrid continue to be credited with an interest in the duo, though, and according to AS, Zinedine Zidane's side are hoping to bring them both to the Bernabeu ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

Mbappe, who has also been linked with Liverpool, has again been in excellent form for PSG this season, already managing seven goals and seven assists in eight appearances in all competitions.

The 21-year-old is said to be keen to link up with Zidane in the Spanish capital, while Camavinga is also believed to be a leading target for the Spanish champions.

The midfielder is already a regular for Rennes at the age of 17, scoring once and providing one assist in nine appearances for the Ligue 1 side since the start of the season.

Madrid are also allegedly optimistic of signing Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.

Real Madrid 'join the race for Marcus Thuram'

Real Madrid are reportedly in the hunt for Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Marcus Thuram.

The 23-year-old, who is the son of France legend Lilian Thuram, has been in impressive form for Gladbach during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring three times and contributing five assists in 10 appearances.

Barcelona, Manchester City and Liverpool have all been credited with an interest in a player who has been named in the France squad for their November internationals.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Madrid are also firmly in the race for the attacker, with Zinedine Zidane's side preparing to battle the likes of Barca for his signature.

Thuram - contracted to his German club until June 2023 - has scored 17 times and registered 14 assists in 49 appearances for Die Fohlen since arriving from Guingamp in July 2019.

The Frenchman, who scored twice against Madrid in the Champions League last month, largely operates as a left-sided attacker but has also played on the right and through the middle for his Bundesliga club this season.
