Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing a summer move for Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil.

The German international still has two years left to run on his current deal at the Emirates, but it is understood that Arsene Wenger is keen to tie the 27-year-old to a new deal.

On Thursday, it was claimed that Ozil was not prepared to discuss a new contract until after Euro 2016 and according to The Sun, Bayern are closely monitoring developments at the Emirates.

Ozil, who joined Arsenal from Real Madrid in 2013, started his professional career in the Bundesliga with Schalke 04 in 2006, before spending two seasons with Werder Bremen.
