Saturday's Premier League predictions including Arsenal vs. Tottenham

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including the North London derby between Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur.

The Premier League returns following the international break with a blockbuster North London derby on Saturday lunchtime, as Arsenal play host to Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates.

One week after the women's teams made history in their North London derby, the men's crops will battle for supremacy and the chance to sit pretty at the top of the Premier League table.

We say: Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal's streak of failing to keep clean sheets at home and Tottenham's consistent run of scoring against the Gunners bodes well for those in white, but a North London derby at the Emirates always seems to galvanise the home support.

Arteta's side could receive numerous fitness boosts, are demonstrating a far more effective ability to press high, and can recover well from in-game setbacks, which should help them to a narrow victory on Saturday against a Tottenham side who still have some questions to answer on the creative front.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Bournemouth vs. Brentford (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Bournemouth and Brentford will both be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they lock horns at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

The two clubs will be meeting in the top flight for the very first time, with this fixture to become the 109th to be played in each of the top-four tiers of English football.

We say: Bournemouth 3-2 Brentford

While Bournemouth have struggled to find the net in recent home games, we can see them breaching Brentford's leaky backline on Saturday, and an open contest could be on the cards at the Vitality Stadium.

The Bees will be optimistic about success in this fixture should Toney continue to fire in front of goal, but we feel the hosts can keep their momentum going, with O'Neil guiding his side to a thrilling victory in front of their own supporters.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Graham Potter will finally take charge of his first Premier League game for Chelsea on Saturday afternoon, as Crystal Palace welcome their capital counterparts to Selhurst Park for a London derby.

The Blues entered the international break sitting seventh in the table, while the Eagles are nine places and four points worse off than their upcoming opponents.

We say: Crystal Palace 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea are still clicking into gear under Potter, and Selhurst Park is not an easy place to visit for any side, even if Palace's defensive resilience at home is no longer what it was.

Vieira's side may feel that there is no better time to end their dismal losing streak against Chelsea, but a steadfast Potter-led defence can hold firm as the Blues' attackers nick an all-important goal to kickstart a potential revival.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Fulham vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two Premier League teams currently sitting in the top half of the table meet at Craven Cottage on Saturday, as Fulham play host to Newcastle United.

While the Cottagers are yet to lose after three games on home soil, the Magpies are still searching for their first away victory of the 2022-23 campaign.

We say: Fulham 2-1 Newcastle United

At least three goals have been scored in each of Fulham's last five league fixtures and there could be plenty more goalmouth action in their encounter with Newcastle.

With the Magpies potentially missing a few key players this weekend, we feel that the hosts may edge this contest, with Mitrovic looking to score his first goal against his former club at the fourth time of asking.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Liverpool vs. Brighton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Liverpool will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield on Saturday.

The visitors, meanwhile, will be competing in their first match under new manager Roberto De Zerbi.

We say: Liverpool 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

We expect Brighton to come flying out of the traps under their new manager and make life very difficult for Liverpool.

However, the Reds showed some signs of returning to their best against Ajax, and they should be able to get over the line in the end.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Southampton vs. Everton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Southampton welcome Everton to St Mary's on Saturday, with the hosts seeking to avoid a third successive Premier League defeat.

The Toffees, meanwhile, head into this contest after picking up their first three points of the season against West Ham United last time out.

We say: Southampton 1-1 Everton

Both teams will fancy their chances of claiming maximum points as they bid to finish the weekend inside the top half of the table.

However, a closely-fought contest could be on the cards at St Mary's and with little to separate them, we feel that they may have to settle for a share of the spoils on this occasion.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

West Ham vs. Wolves (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Seventeenth meets 18th in Saturday evening's Premier League contest at the London Stadium, as West Ham United host fellow strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers.

David Moyes's side occupy a spot in the relegation zone at present, while their visitors are only one place and two points better off.

We say: West Ham United 1-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

West Ham should sense an opportunity now that the Collins-Kilman partnership has been broken up, and a Diego Costa still working his way towards full match fitness is certainly not the answer to Wolves' attacking shortcomings.

Moyes will be tempted to tinker with his wealth of options in the final third, and while fireworks may not fly between two sides who saw the international break come at an ideal time, West Ham can harness their European goalscoring energy to pick up a long-awaited home win.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
