Emma Raducanu thrashes Victoria Azarenka in the Cincinnati Open second round, while Cameron Norrie edges out Andy Murray in their all-British clash.

Emma Raducanu has recorded a dominant victory over Victoria Azarenka to progress through to the third round of the Cincinnati Open.

On Tuesday evening, the US Open champion dropped just four games in defeating the legendary Serena Williams, and the British number one was equally ruthless in dispatching of Azarenka less than 24 hours later.

Raducanu ultimately prevailed by a 6-0 6-2 scoreline, a remarkable effort which could have been bettered with the 19-year-old two games from inflicting the first double bagel of Azarenka's career.

To her opponent's credit, she improved towards the closing stages of the contest, even having two break points to get back to 5-3, but Raducanu maintained her high level and concentration to end the contest in little more than an hour.

Raducanu, who allowed Azarenka just 14 points on her serve all match, will now square off against American number one Jessica Pegula for a place in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Cameron Norrie came from behind to defeat Andy Murray in their all-British clash in the match preceding Raducanu's.

Both the 2022 Wimbledon semi-finalist and the three-time major champion went into the contest looking to reach the third round of their final tournament before the US Open later this month.

At one stage, it appeared that Murray would be advancing through to the last 16 having taken the opening set with two breaks of serve, but Norrie battled back to prevail by a 3-6 6-3 6-4 scoreline.

The win was particular sweet for Norrie after saving three break points in the final game of the second set before reeling off five points in a row.

Murray also created numerous chances to break in the decider, but Norrie dug deep to remain on level terms before eventually breaking Murray's serve for a 5-3 lead.

Although the left-hander found himself 0-30 down when serving for the match, he reeled off another four points in succession to set up a last-16 encounter with either Casper Ruud or Ben Shelton.
