Friday's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup: Antonio Rudiger, Nathan Ake, Milan Skriniar

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Tottenham on Friday, October 2.

The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Tottenham Hotspur eye possible reinforcements.

Spurs were among the biggest spenders during the January transfer window but are expected to be active again in the summer as Jose Mourinho continues to mould his squad.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Friday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:

Tottenham Hotspur 'make official bid for Antonio Rudiger'

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made an offer for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

The Germany international is allegedly surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and is expected to leave Frank Lampard's side before the transfer window closes on October 5.

A number of clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, have been mentioned as potential suitors for Rudiger, who has made 115 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.

However, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Spurs have now lodged an official bid for the 27-year-old as Jose Mourinho's side look to bring another centre-back to the club.

Schira claims that Tottenham are keen to loan Rudiger for the 2020-21 campaign but also want the option of signing him on a permanent deal next summer.

The German is yet to make a single appearance for Chelsea this season and has not even been on the bench for Lampard's side since their opening game of the new Premier League campaign.

Bournemouth 'slash asking price for Man Utd, Spurs target Josh King'

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been handed a boost in their bid to sign Bournemouth forward Josh King.

The Cherries have allowed the likes of Nathan Ake and Callum Wilson to join Manchester City and Newcastle United in big-money deals this summer.

However, the Championship outfit have been less open to parting ways with King, despite the Norway international having less than a year left on his contract.

According to The Sun, Bournemouth's stance has weakened, with the South-Coast outfit now happy to accept any bids in the region of £10m.

The development is only likely to lead to more interest in the 28-year-old, who can join another English club as late as October 16.

United, Spurs and Aston Villa are all said to be interested in the versatile attacker.
