Report: Andre Villas-Boas to take over at Schalke 04 this summer

Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly expected to take over at Schalke 04 this summer when he leaves Zenit St Petersburg.

Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly due to take over as Schalke 04 manager this summer.

The former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur boss will leave his current role at Zenit St Petersburg when the Russian season comes to an end this weekend.

Villas-Boas, who opted against signing a contract extension at Zenit, is expected to be named as Andre Breitenreiter's successor in the Bundesliga, according to reports in Germany.

The Portuguese coach won the Russian Premier League, the Russian Cup and the Russian Super Cup during his two-year spell at Zenit.
