Rangers and Celtic have been drawn against each other in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.

Rangers and Celtic have been drawn against each other in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.

The leaders of the top two divisions in Scotland will meet at Hampden Park on the weekend of April 16/17, while the other tie will see Dundee United take on the winners of the replay between Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Hibernian.

The Old Firm derby was last played in February 2015, when the Hoops claimed a 2-0 victory to progress through to the final of the Scottish League Cup.

Under new manager Mark Warburton, Rangers have lost just two Scottish Championship games all season, sitting 12 points clear at the top of the table and on course for a return to the top flight.
