Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Monday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will have Kyle Walker back at his disposal for Monday's Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace.

The right-back was forced to miss the 0-0 draw with Sporting Lisbon in midweek due to a Champions League ban but should earn an immediate recall to the rearguard here.

Walker's return is timely with Joao Cancelo still doubtful through illness alongside Zack Steffen (back), Cole Palmer (foot) and Nathan Ake (knock), while Ruben Dias is still out with his hamstring injury.

Scott Carson was given a rare opportunity in goal off the bench in midweek as Ederson prepares to play the full 90 at Selhurst Park, with John Stones and Aymeric Laporte protecting the Brazilian.

Oleksandr Zinchenko should continue at left-back if Cancelo is not available, while Fernandinho and Ilkay Gundogan should make way for Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne respectively.

Phil Foden's spot at the tip of the attack is most likely safe, but Riyad Mahrez will likely displace Gabriel Jesus on the right, while Jack Grealish holds out for an opportunity on the left over Raheem Sterling after enjoying a complete rest in midweek.

Man City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko; Silva, Rodri, De Bruyne; Mahrez, Foden, Grealish
