Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Monday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should be working with an identical squad for Monday's Premier League showdown with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Reds remain without their trio of long-term absentees in Stefan Bajcetic (adductor), Calvin Ramsay (knee) and Thiago Alcantara (hip), while neither Roberto Firmino nor Naby Keita have recovered from their muscular problems.

As a result, a similar XI from last weekend's success over Brentford should take to the field, starting with Alisson Becker being protected by Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.

Still thriving in his hybrid role with six assists from his last seven games, Trent Alexander-Arnold will continue on the right-hand side, as Andrew Robertson bombs down the left flank.

Jordan Henderson recovered from a knock to come off the bench in the 1-0 win against Brentford, and the captain could now rejoin a familiar midfield with Curtis Jones and Fabinho.

At least one of Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez would therefore have to be sacrificed, and Jota could face demotion to the bench as Gakpo moves into a centre-forward role.

Fresh from scoring his 100th Anfield goal, Salah will continue on the right as ever, while Luis Diaz was restricted to a substitute appearance last weekend and could now threaten Nunez's spot on the left.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Fabinho, Henderson; Salah, Gakpo, Diaz
