Roma are reportedly preparing to make an improved offer for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez.

Roma have reportedly decided to make an improved bid for Leicester City playmaker Riyad Mahrez.

Since publicly stating that he is keen for a new challenge, Mahrez has been strongly linked with both Arsenal and Roma, although Leicester insist that he will not be sold unless their valuation is met.

The Italian side have allegedly already failed with an offer for the Algerian international but according to The Mirror, they are ready to try to tempt the Foxes with an improved approach.

It has been claimed that they are willing to offer £32m for a player who played a key role in helping Leicester win the Premier League during the 2015-16 campaign, and reach the Champions League quarter-finals last season.

The 26-year-old - who still has three years remaining on his contract - has netted 35 goals in 138 appearances during his time in the East Midlands.

Mahrez has played a full part in Leicester's pre-season campaign, which has included two matches in the Premier League Asia Trophy.
