Leicester City reportedly reject a £7m bid from Derby County for winger Tom Lawrence.

Leicester City have reportedly rejected a bid of £7m from Derby County for winger Tom Lawrence.

The 23-year-old has been on the radar of a number of sides this summer following his performance out on loan at Ipswich Town last season, which saw him score 11 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions.

Gary Rowett's Rams are one of the potential suitors and earlier this week it was claimed that they were preparing a bid of £7m to bring the youngster to Pride Park.

According to Sky Sports News, Derby have now made their interest official but have been promptly knocked back by the Foxes, who signed Lawrence on a four-year deal from Manchester United in 2014.

Premier League newcomers Brighton & Hove Albion have also been credited with an interest in Lawrence, who is now into the last 12 months of his Leicester deal.
