David Ospina wants to stay at Arsenal in this summer's transfer window despite being the club's number two goalkeeper behind Petr Cech.

David Ospina has revealed that he wants to stay at Arsenal in this summer's transfer window.

The Colombian international has been strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce believed to have a long-standing interest in the goalkeeper.

Ospina, however, has said that he 'wants to continue' at Arsenal despite being the London club's number two stopper behind Petr Cech.

"I have a contract here, I'm happy and I'm going to fight to the end, I want to continue and win a job," Ospina told reporters. "That's what I'm working for, I've been working for three years and now I'm waiting for the opportunity."

The 28-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Nice in the summer of 2014, has only made six Premier League appearances for the Gunners over the last two campaigns.
