Antalyaspor will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to eight league matches when they play host to Giresunspor on Sunday.

Like their hosts, Giresunspor are also in impressive form after winning their last three games, which has helped them move out of the relegation zone.

Antalyaspor, who sit in 12th place, have alleviated their relegation fears after embarking on a seven-game unbeaten league run.

With just nine games remaining in the Super Lig season, Nuri Sahin's side sit nine points clear of the drop zone, which is an impressive feat for a side that ended January in the relegation zone.

Although they may sit in relative safety, Sahin will not want his side to rest on their laurels with a top-half finish a very real possibility.

Sunday's hosts will be aiming to clinch a third consecutive victory after winning their last two matches, with their most recent encounter against Istanbul Basaksehir decided by Haji Wright's 20th-minute strike.

Sahin will be confident that his charges can claim a positive result on Sunday, with Antalyaspor unbeaten on home turf since a league defeat against Istanbul Basaksehir on October 24.

The visitors, meanwhile, sit just outside the bottom four after three consecutive victories lifted them out of the drop zone where they now sit six points clear.

Relegation rivals were dispatched in the form of Goztepe and Caykur Rizespor before they claimed a 2-1 home victory over Gaziantep last time out.

Serginho gave Giresunspor an early lead before Gaziantep hit back before half time through Alexandru Maxim, but with just over 10 minutes left to play, Chiquinho snatched all three points for the hosts.

Hakan Keles will now be challenging his side to clinch a fourth successive win, which would help them cement their place in the Super Lig for another season.

He will also be looking for his side to end a nine-game run without keeping a clean sheet, although Giresunspor have been fared well in the final third in their last three matches, scoring at least two goals in all three of those contests.

Admir Mehmedi, Ufuk Akyol and Harun Alpsoy are all ruled out through injury for the hosts.

Sahin could name an unchanged lineup for Sunday's contest following their 1-0 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir last time out.

After scoring his sixth league goal of the season last weekend, Wright will be aiming to add to his tally on Sunday.

As for Giresunspor, they are without the services of Emre Tasdemir and Zeki Yavru, who both miss out due to injury issues.

Flavio was forced off at half time against Gaziantep due to injury, and he is expected to be sidelined for Sunday's contest, which could present Sergen Picinciol with a starting place.

Meanwhile, Chiquinho will be looking to continue his impressive form since joining on loan from Benfica in the winter transfer window, with the 26-year-old registering three goals in his five appearances for Giresunspor.
