Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier has reportedly been arrested in Paris following an alleged altercation with police.

The 23-year-old was taken into police custody following an incident in the early hours of Monday morning.

The arrest was made shortly after the footballer left a nightclub in the Champs Elysees area, according to BBC Sport.

Aurier is no stranger to controversy as he was hit with a short suspension by PSG in February after insulting head coach Laurent Blanc, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Angel di Maria via an online video.
