Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly reignite their interest in signing Anderlecht striker Idrissa Sylla.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly reignited their interest in Anderlecht striker Idrissa Sylla as the side prepares for another season in the Championship.

According to the Express & Star, manager Kenny Jackett is keen to sign the 25-year-old this summer, having earmarked new strikers as his priority in the transfer window.

Wolves were last linked with Sylla - then at Zulte Waregem - in January 2015 but the club instead sealed a deal with Arsenal for Benik Afobe, who has since moved to Bournemouth.

Reports in Belgium suggest that Anderlecht are prepared to let Sylla leave Brussels this summer if they can find a suitable replacement.

Premier League sides Sunderland, Burnley, Southampton and Swansea City have also been credited with an interest.
