Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keen on signing Porto defender Willy Boly on a season-long loan deal.

Porto defender Willy Boly has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Championship outfit have been heavily linked with Porto's top prospect Ruben Neves, but it appears that they are intent on raiding the Portuguese giants for another player.

According to Record, Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo wants to strengthen his defence with the loan signing of Boly, who he worked with last season.

The 26-year-old was only used sparingly by Nuno but despite his limited appearances at Estadio do Dragao, he is regarded as a key addition this summer.

Wolves have already made four defensive additions ahead of next season, with Ryan Bennett, Roderick Miranda, Phil Ofosu-Ayeh and Barry Douglas all moving to the West Midlands.
