A report in Italy claims that Lazio are plotting a summer move for Southampton centre-forward Graziano Pelle.

Lazio have reportedly opened up discussions to take Graziano Pelle back to Italy in the summer.

The 30-year-old has been away from Serie A football since 2013, first with Feyenoord and now with Premier League outfit Southampton.

However, with just over 12 months left to run on his contract on the south coast, Lazio are ready to make a move, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The report adds that the Sky Blues are eager to tie up a deal before Euro 2016, where Pelle is tipped to feature for Antonio Conte's Italian side.

The frontman has scored 29 goals in 78 outings for Southampton.
