The Welshman has scored four goals in five matches and saw his shot deflected home for the winner against Manchester City in the Champions League semi-finals in midweek.
However, he looks set to miss Sunday's La Liga contest against Valencia with what Madrid described on their website as a "joint strain in his right knee".
