Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa, who will leave the Bernabeu this summer, insists that he is not retiring from the sport at the end of the season.

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa has insisted that he will seek a new club at the end of this season.

The former Spain international will depart the Bernabeu on a free transfer this summer and it had been claimed that the 33-year-old could hang up his boots following a 14-year professional career.

Arbeloa, however, has vowed to continue playing despite being unsure of his next move.

"I'll keep playing, that's clear. I love training and playing and want to continue. I have nothing, know nothing, about where I'll be next year," Arbeloa told Marca.

The full-back rejoined Real Madrid from Liverpool in 2009 and has made 232 appearances in his second spell in Madrid, but just eight of those have come this season.
