Portugal coach Fernando Santos says that he has no concerns over Cristiano Ronaldo's fitness.

Portugal coach Fernando Santos has insisted that he is not worried about Cristiano Ronaldo's fitness ahead of Euro 2016.

The three-time Ballon d'Or winner recently missed three games for Real Madrid because of a hamstring injury.

Ronaldo was left out of last week's goalless draw with Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

However, the 31-year-old could return to the pitch for the second leg at the Bernabeu after returning to training over the weekend.

"I was worried when I saw him complain against Villarreal and then leave the pitch," Santos told Lusa. "But we have already been in touch about his situation and it is nothing alarming. I think things will work out just fine."

Portugal's first group game at Euro 2016 is against Iceland on June 14.
