Newcastle United are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Allan Saint-Maximin in the summer transfer window.

Newcastle United are reportedly prepared to listen to offers for Allan Saint-Maximin this summer.

Since joining the Magpies from Nice in 2019, Saint-Maximin has scored 13 goals and provided 21 assists in 119 appearances.

Saint-Maximin has established himself as a fan favourite at St James' Park and has a contract until June 2026.

The Frenchman's representatives have supposedly asked Newcastle to look into the possibility of opening talks over a new deal.

Saint-Maximin is keen to increase his salary and sign a longer contract, but as it stands, Newcastle are not prepared to enter negotiations.

According to TEAMtalk, Newcastle are not convinced that Saint-Maximin features in their long-term plans and are willing to entertain offers in the summer.

Saint-Maximin is not a guaranteed starter in Eddie Howe's side, with the Newcastle boss able to call upon the likes of Miguel Almiron, Anthony Gordon and Jacob Murphy.

With the Magpies expected to bolster their squad ahead of the 2023-24 season, the 26-year-old could fall down the pecking order.

There was believed to be interest from the Middle East in January, and that could reemerge as a potential destination for Saint-Maximin should the Magpies decide to sanction a sale.

The winger has missed Newcastle's last two matches with a hamstring injury, which Howe did not believe was serious.

Saint-Maximin recently returned home to France to work on his recovery, and he will be hoping to return to full fitness in time for Sunday's home meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite suffering a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday, the Magpies remain firmly in the hunt for Champions League qualification.

They are currently sitting in fourth position in the Premier League table with a three-point gap to fifth-placed Tottenham, who have played one game more.
