Hull City striker Abel Hernandez could be set for a return to Italy with Fiorentina, despite securing promotion to the Premier League next season with the Tigers.

Hull City striker Abel Hernandez has found himself on the radar of Italian side Fiorentina, according to reports.

The Tigers' top scorer finished joint second in the Championship golden boot race with 21 goals, helping to guide Hull to a fourth-place finish and eventually a playoff final win against Sheffield Wednesday.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Hernandez's goalscoring feats have caught the attention of the Viola, with new sporting director Pantaleo Corvino setting his sights on the Uruguayan.
