A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur want to boost their striking options with the signing of Fiorentina's Nikola Kalinic at the end of the season.

Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.

The Croatian international played in England between 2009 and 2011, scoring seven Premier League goals for Blackburn Rovers, before making the move to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

The 28-year-old swapped Russia for Fiorentina last summer, however, and has hit 12 Serie A goals in 33 appearances for his Italian club this season.

According to La Nazione, Spurs have identified Kalinic as one of their main summer targets as they attempt to boost their options in the final third of the field.

The experienced forward has scored eight times in 26 appearances for the Croatian national team.
