Hull City defender Andrew Robertson faces eight weeks on the sidelines with a calf injury.

Hull City defender Andrew Robertson has been ruled out for approximately eight weeks with a calf injury.

Robertson suffered the problem during the second half of Hull's 6-1 defeat to Bournemouth and scans have suggested that he could be absent until Christmas.

On Instagram, the left-back said: "Looks like I will be a supporter for the next few weeks! Hopefully the lads can kick on and I will be back in no time."

The injury to Robertson - who had been an ever-present in the Hull side this season - also comes as a blow to Scotland, who are scheduled to face England in a World Cup qualifier next month.
