Fulham complete the signing of midfielder Oliver Norwood on a season-long loan from newly-promoted Brighton & Hove Albion.

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Oliver Norwood has completed a season-long loan switch to Championship side Fulham.

The 26-year-old featured 37 times for the Seagulls last season as they won promotion to the Premier League as runners-up, but he will return to the second tier for the 2017-18 campaign.

The Northern Ireland international has agreed a temporary move to Craven Cottage for the duration of the season as he looks to help a second team to promotion in succession.

"I'm just delighted to be here. Having played Fulham the last two seasons, the football they have played, it suits my style, it suits the way I like to play football," he told the club's official website.

"Once I knew of the interest I was desperate to get it done and I am very happy to be here."

Norwood started just 16 of Brighton's Championship games last season having joined from Reading the previous summer.
