Everton manager Ronald Koeman reportedly maintains an interest in signing Burnley forward Andre Gray during the summer.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has reportedly maintained his interest in trying to sign Burnley attacker Andre Gray.

Soon after the end of the Premier League campaign, reports began to emerge that Koeman may try to take advantage of Gray's situation at Turf Moor, where he has just 12 months remaining on his contract.

The Toffees have since instigated a spending spree involving other players, including meeting the release clause of Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez.

However, according to The Mirror, Gray remains in Koeman's plans and the Dutchman is expected to launch a bid for the 25-year-old at some point during the summer.

During his first season in the top flight, Gray contributed nine goals and three assists in 32 outings from the number nine position and the flank.

Everton would likely have to bid £10m in order to tempt Clarets boss Sean Dyche into a sale.
