Everton reportedly try to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who has previously been linked with Manchester United.

Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Everton.

The Toffees are looking to make major additions during the summer window, and manager Ronald Koeman has already signed the likes of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and midfielder Davy Klaassen from Sunderland and Ajax respectively.

Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez is also likely to sign in the coming days and according to Croatian outfit Jutarnji, Brozovic could be the next arrival.

It has been claimed that Everton have lodged a bid of £15.5m and although that has been rejected, they could be successful if they decide to increase their offer to £17.5m.

The 24-year-old has been at the San Siro since January 2015, where he has scored 14 goals in 79 appearances in all competitions.

Earlier this year, he was linked with a transfer to Manchester United.
