The Football Association has announced that England will play France next June in an international friendly in Paris.

Sam Allardyce's Three Lions will take on Les Bleus at the Stade de France in an 8pm (UK time) kickoff on Tuesday, June 13.

The match - the first meeting between the two nations since November 2015 - will take place three days after England's World Cup qualifier against Scotland at Hampden Park.

Allardyce's first outing as England manager was almost a fortnight ago when Adam Lallana sealed a late 1-0 win over qualifying opponents Slovakia.

The former Sunderland boss was appointed as Roy Hodgson's successor in the summer following England's last-16 exit at the European Championships.

Andros Townsend of England scores their third goal during the FIFA 2014 World Cup Qualifying Group H match between England and Montenegro at Wembley Stadium on October 11, 2013
